Hours before the latest Ipsos-Reid poll dropped, Paul Martin appeared before the cameras to maintain he has “the moral authority to govern”.
“Not only do I have the moral authority to govern, I have the moral responsibility to act and that’s what I have done,” he said.
Of course, every Liberal believes that they do, whether they happen to be in government or not.
Unfortunately for Paul Martin, about half of Canadians disagree with him, a quarter of them “strongly” so:
Because of what’s being revealed at the Gomery Commission, the Martin Liberals have lost their moral right to govern and the opposition parties should force an immediate election.
Agree: 45%

Question for the reader: Did Martin have advance knowledge of the poll question when he made his statement?
